GFL is currently scheduled to pick up our recycling on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Trash and Recycling will resume on the normal Tuesday schedule beginning January 9, 2024.
This information was provided to the association bookkeeper by a GFL representative in the Pennsylvania office after almost an hour long phone call.
We received no prior notification of a delay in our Recycling service.
As we are expecting the possibility of snow this weekend, please remove your cans from the curb. Please do this as a courtesy to your neighbors and the environment. We do not want trash containers turned over by snow plows or hindering state vehicles from performing snow removal.
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. Please understand we have no control over when this service is provided. GFL has an effective monopoly in Stafford County for trash removal and we are at their mercy.
